 Anthony T Antinozzi
Anthony T Antinozzi was born on November 11, 1910 to parents Antonio Antinozzi and Maria Schindo. He was in the middle of eight children (Walter, Rocco, Jean, Lucy, Rose, Lawrence, Joseph).
In Rye, his family lived at 214 Central Avenue (street view) and his family were members of the Church of the Resurrection.
Anthony graduated from Rye High School. He went on to study and graduate from Columbia University receiving his law degree. He was admitted to the Bar in 1935. From 1936 to 1942 he was employed by the law firm of VanOrman & Guilfoil in New York City.
 Anthony served in the Army during WWII from 1942 to 1946 as a Lieutenant and later became a Captain. He was stationed in Rhineland and in the African European Theater. He received two combat medals.
Upon his return to America, he was employed by the law firm of Bleakley, Platt, Gilchrest & Walker in New York City. Anthony then went on to become the Assistant City Court Judge of Rye from 1954 to 1959. He also served as Corporation Counsel of the City of Rye from 1960 to 1981.
 Anthony was also the acting City Manager of Rye from 1975 to 1976. He maintained a private law practice at 11 Third Avenue in the City of Rye from 1960 to 2000. He retired at the age of 90. Anthony had many interests. He enjoyed golf, handball, swimming, walking, gardening and traveling. He was also an avid reader.
Anthony T. Antinozzi, a lifelong resident of Rye, NY, passed away on January 8, 2006 at Greenwich Hospital at the age of 95.
At the time of his death he was predeceased by his brothers: Joseph, Rocco and Walter, and his sisters: Jenny Antinozzi, Lee Donovan and Dorothy Lamp. Anthony was survived by his sisters: Rose Antinozzi and Lucy Labruciano; and his brother, Larry Antinozzi, all of Rye. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Anthony will be remembered for his gentle manner and his generosity towards others.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held January 10, 2006 at the Resurrection Church. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook.
